Methyl acrylate and butyl acrylate are washed and dehydrated with 1% NaOH, and then polymerized with finely evaporated acrylonitrile and acrylic acid in lotion in the presence of initiator to remove unreacted monomer, filter and remove impurities (see acrylic resin soft No. 1 lotion for details).
